Expression Plates is a series of ceramic objects that result from the act of pressing ones face and mouth into clay. The results often call upon archaic sensibilities: the act of recording the self for posterity in a coarse way. These objects are left unfinished at varying states and in different environments to deteriorate and evolve over time.
